AA in Dogology: Beyond Sit, Down, & Stay

It is our philosophy that all dogs irregardless of size, should and are able to learn to coexist.  However, first and foremost we must be able to raise confident, secure, stable dogs that are trusting of us and their environment, so that they can live without holding up a "Napolean" guard at all times.

With such great variations in breeds and hybrid mixes, we are seeing an increase in small dog ownership, small breed dogs and their human parents need training too.

At the University of Doglando, we understand the importance of training sound, stable, confident, reliable, secure dogs.  The Small Dog Class is only open to adult dogs that are under 25lbs.  Some restrictions apply such as: a big dog in a small dog body kind of dog may be asked to join the regular A.A. in Dogology.

This class allows every pet parent to feel safe and secure and are able to focus on the actual training as opposed to the dog next door.

At the University of Doglando, our dog training classes are beyond Sit, Down and Stay. We strive to build a very strong and secure foundation in the dog's comprehension of the use of obedience in his/her daily routine.  Our dogs are taught to generalize these skills beyond their home.

After this class, all dogs will be ready for the B.S. in Dogology.

Our Curriculum
At the beginners level, the dogs are taught to apply the skills learend to produce more favorable outcomes for the dog and better control of the dog for the human. During this beginners class, dog's are exposed to mild - moderate levels of distraction and are also worked on distance and duration; based on each dog's learning.

Our B.S. in Dogology takes this a step further into real life applications and meets at a different place in the public each week.

Our goal for the AA in Dogology is to graduate Pet Parents that demonstrate control over their dogs, and dogs that demonstrate obedience in everyday distractions.

AA is a course for all ages of dogs to get a solid foundation in basic obedience and home manners. The program teaches 15 behaviors and their real life applications as well as an introduction to distance, duration and distractions.

It is our belief that training  should be safe, enjoyable and rewarding for both our clients and their pets. This class focuses on exposing puppies to novel sounds, situations, people and places to help you and your dog get off on the right start.

Stiving for reliability and working on control, through our introduction of basic manners we will help you create a puppy you can enjoy and allow be part of your family in all the activities you do.
