"I was invited by Teena Patel the owner of Doglando to come and do a presentation on how to evaluate the structural quality of puppies. This is so important for breeders to learn for the future welfare of the dogs they bring into this world. Everyone in attendance seemed to enjoy the information, and left, I hope, with a better understanding of canine structure and how it impacts the quality of a dog's life.
But the person who impressed me the most was Teena herself. She has such a great grasp of both the physical and mental challenges that a poorly made dog has to deal with throughout his life.
Her concept of a cage free day care center is marvelous. Allowing the dogs to be free and to learn how to be a dog and deal with other dogs is such a rare occurrence in today's world. Very few dogs ever have the opportunity to learn in this fashion and to have someone whos is so dedicated to doing it correctly while understanding dogs, dog behavior and dog language is a blessing to all who have the opportunity to attend her day care center." --- Pat Hastings (AKC Judge for Herding, Non-Sporting Groups, Working Dogs, Junior Showmanship and Best in Show)
Our dog Belle, is an extremely cute, extremely energetic Chocolate Lab. The dog literally does not stop moving unless chow time or sleep time. Belle gets two days a week at Doglando's day care with Teena and the gang. She has so much fun running free, swimming, chasing things and just being a dog. Once she passes the entrance gate... BAM she get's off like a rocket, with her tail wagging so happily. After Belle comes home, she is so tired and f ulfilled that she sleeps all that evening, teh next day and part of the following morning. Her contentment is the best mark of approval a dog could give. She is the happiest dog.
We humans, love Doglando too. The facilities are great; it is always clean inside the building and their outdoor grounds are tidy. They use dog-friendly products and have plenty of toys available for the dogs to play with. The multiple acres of land are split into nice large size areas, where dogs can run around, splash, dig and relax in the shade. In addition, when picking up Belle, we can pick up food, treats and fun toys from their shop. It saves us a lot of time.
The staff at Doglando are great! Teena has personally worked with us on dog training, fixing Belle's less desirable behaviors and helping her become a better dog. We know the rest of the staff by name and vice versa.
What takes Doglando from "special" to "truly unique" is their community involvement. They are just amazing folks!

Simply stated: Our 4 dogs know this is their second home!
Before we take them over there in the morning, once a week, we tell them "Let's go see Teena!", and the reaction they have is equivalent to the one kids have when you tell them they are going to Disney World!
We could not be happier with the treatment they receive, the fun they have, the true "dog bonding" experience they get, and the peace of mind we have from knowing that our dogs are never caged, don't spend the day in a "play room" inside, surrounded by four walls, but instead, are free to roam in nature and around the staff in the house, which is the most natural, happiest and healthiest setting for the dogs. If by any chance we stop by to buy anything at Teena's store while our dogs are there, the dogs see us but are not even interested in going home! They want to stay there and play!! Wow!
The big difference we feel comes down to this: When dogs bark at U of D, they bark because they are happy and playing together, and not because they want to get out of their cages, cubicles or "play room" like at other places, because at U of D, there aren't any!! Thank you for the respect you have for all dogs, especially for ours!

My Dog Zack is a 9 year old male Jack Russell who has been a part of The University Of Doglando family for a few months now. I gotta tell you he Loves it there. The freedom to be able to roam freely with his dog friends is just better than peanut butter.
He can hardly contain himself when I start down the road to the facility. As soon as I open my car door, even though I have him on a leash, if I’m going with him I better move quickly.
He attends Friday Daycare and has boarded on numerous occasions. Teena and her staff have been great with Zack and all the dogs I've seen there. When Zack gets tired of running and playing he just finds a place to cool down and rest until he is ready to go again.
Bottom line… I'm so glad I found this facility for an important member of our family, if Zack boy is happy then so are we.
Oh by the way Zack seems to sense when Friday day care rolls around , I say " Zack You Wanna Go Play With The Puppies" and I can't even catch his tail because its wiggling so fast. Another thing…. he is eating a lot better now. I give them An “A”.

This is the best thing that could happened for your dog.
After a day at daycare, most dogs would be wiped from exhaustion. That’s a good thing, especially for a high energy pip.
The fact that your dog is never crated give the dog a feeling of freedom, just like being home.
The other services are great. It’s a one stop shopping. Grooming, toys and treats. It’s nice to have all this available for your dog.
By the e way, have I mentioned that Teena, the mastermind behind this project is the greatest!!! She is somebody who loves your dog as much as you do.
University of Doglando is a must for at least one day a week.

My dog Patch knows when it’s Tuesday. Every Tuesday, he gets to go to Doglando to play with all his friends. He loves it! He can not wait to get in the car and then jump out once we get to Doglando. On the way home, he is so tired from having so much fun, that he falls asleep. Everyone at Doglando loves the dogs and takes great care of them. I am very thankful to have a kind and fun place to take my Patch.
Much Thanks

We love University of Doglando! Our dog Lexie knows
the words - Do you want to go to Miss Teena's? She gets so excited she
starts spinning in circles. Daycare is such a great way for her to get
out her extra energy. Her very favorite thing is the pool - she races
out to check if there is water in it yet! Teena's passion for dogs
shows in her care and concern for each one of her doggie clients!
Thanks U of D!!!

Our dogs get a chance to burn off LOTS of energy at doggy daycare. They are high energy dogs and after a day at daycare they are exhausted! We can tell that they love going because every morning they sit by the gate waiting for Teena to ring the doorbell, and whine when it's not their day to go. We know that our dogs are well taken care of when they are with Teena and the staff of UofD.
