Course
The CGC is a certification program that is designed to reward
dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The CGC
Program is a two part program that stresses responsible pet ownership
for owners and basic good manners for dogs.
The
CGC course focuses on practicing and perfecting the CGC Test Items,
and will be followed by a CGC test night. The purpose of the program
is to ensure that our favorite companion, the dog, can be a respected
member of the community. To receive the CGC certificate, the dogs
must pass a 10 item test. All dogs who pass the CGC test will
receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club and will be
automatically recorded in the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen
archive. With that you will also receive a CGC certificate for
your records.
Requirements:
Up to date on vaccinations and a high level of comprehension of
basic cues, in high levels of distraction, increased duration,
and increased distance, completion of BS in Dogology.
Proof of vaccinations is required upon enrollment.
