It was hard to choose "My Type" daycare or trainer, Teena Patel has been my dog's (Dakota) best friend. The daycare, misnomer, it's training in a crateless, large outdoor environment. Teena took care of Dakota while my husband was with Hospice. Dakota recognized the moment that Ernie passed. That Teena saw this, understood it, was very important to me.

Who says training is not fun??? It may just be that you need to find the right trainer!

she will stop and come running when she hears me call her name.
She will NOT touch her food until I say it is ?OK?.
And you better believe she will ?LEAVE IT? when we tell
her too. I can honestly tell you Teena is great with dogs, she understands
them and cares for them. We are so lucky to have found her when
we did, it was the right time for us. And I almost forgot, she even
worked with our kids a bit to get them training her also (then the
youngest was 2 _). We have had very large dogs before and never
had them trained like this one. She has a gift?..and is willing
the share it with you! We just love her!

I
always wanted a dog that would listen without using a lead - using
voice and hand commands. Teena has made this possible in a very
short time with our dog Sadie. I can walk her off lead and not worry
that she is going to run off into the street or to another dog or
person. Teena is awesome!! Life is better off lead!!! Thanks Teena!

When we first got Trevor everyone
was saying he would be a handful being a 
beagle
puppy. So the first thing we did was find a trainer that could help
us to control some of the traits that beagles are known for. Teena's
training methods were easy enough for Trevor to understand at a
very young age as well as for us to understand, which is probably
the harder of the two. I get so many complements on how well behaved
Trevor is and each time I say, thank Teena for that.
